Taronga Centenary Theatre
CONTEXT was engaged in collaboration with TKD Architects to prepare the landscape concept and construction documentation plans for the Centenary Theatre at Taronga Zoo. The Centenary Theatre was the premier project opened during Taronga Zoo’s Centenary year in 2016. The theatre and surrounding public domain creates an immersive multi-sensory visitor attraction that delivers a unique, entertaining and engaging learning experience.

Design development resolved numerous issues relating to visitor circulation on this constrained site while being sensitive to the existing significant vegetation and capturing world famous views of Sydney Harbour and the CBD skyline beyond.
