CONTEXT are part of a consortium to provide an integrated Interpretation Plan incorporating Landscape and Architectural Designs for Kamay Botany Bay National Park, specifically the La Perouse Headland and Bare Island precinct. The planning and design process brings together a collaborative team of specialists skilled in the areas of heritage planning, exhibition design, landscape and architecture planning and design, graphic design and project delivery.

The key objectives and outcomes of this project were to develop and produce an interpretive design that communicates the natural and cultural heritage of the precinct and interprets these layers of meaning through exciting and innovative design solutions; to revitalise the precinct to provide a high quality visitor experience and recreational use; to address the visual connections to the Meeting Place Precinct across the bay at Kurnell and address the existing heritage buildings and monuments in accordance and compliance with NPWS’s heritage guidelines and provide solutions that are cost effective and accessible.
