Yelgun to Chinderah, Pacific National Highway Upgrade
| commissioned by | | Road Transit Authority
| in conjunction with | | Conybeare Morrison
The world-class 28.6 km highway upgrade creates a unique experience along the road corridor, allowing a driver to travel through a range of four integrated landscape ecologies; rainforest, pastoral, lowlands and the Tweed Valley. Located north of the Brunswick River and connecting the communities of the far north coast with Sydney and Brisbane, the Urban and Landscape design represents a new national and international approach which aims to improve the total road environment, with special emphasis placed upon safety and environmental integrity.
