Westlink M7 Sydney Orbital

CONTEXT was involved in the design and documentation of the landscape works for the 40 kilometre new Westlink M7 Motorway. The road corridor landscape creates a matrix within which the motorway, shared path and all other project built elements are embedded. It focuses on unifying and enhancing the road corridor experience for drivers, cyclists and the surrounding residents. The project reconnects severed ecologies and habitats, re-establishing endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland communities and restoring riparian corridors which are disturbed by the corridor.
