Pasadena Residential Development

The landscape design for the residential development adjacent to Shanghai University of Science and Technology draws on the visual and physical link between the residential village and the adjoining University. It offers a welcoming contrast to the formal grid layout of the University campus. The distinctive and memorable landscape setting is composed of a series of open spaces, canal side parks and water features. It is centred on an impressive club house which offered a richly varied range of settings for future residents. The landscape design is underpinned by a linear progression of open spaces which follow the site’s natural watercourse. The development provides a large range of medium density housing models and landscapes for contemporary living.
