Moore Park, representing 115 hectares of the total area of Centennial Parklands, offers a diverse range of recreational, aesthetic, historical and cultural experiences. It is an important neighbour to Sydney's premier sporting and entertainment venues, and has large passive recreation areas as well as catering for cultural events, event parking and regionally based amateur and professional sporting groups. Following an extensive consultation process with key stakeholders and the community, Context is preparing the master plan for Moore Park to act as a guide to the management of acceptable change in Moore Park, providing the framework for day-to-day operations and long, medium and short-term decision making.
