The approximately 180 hectares of gently undulating landscape of the Elderslie Release Area has two principle ephemeral drainage lines, the Herbert Rivulet and Oxley Rivulet. CONTEXT was commissioned to prepare a Landscape Concept Design for the two riparian corridors in accordance with the adopted Release Area Master Plan, Watercycle Master Plan, and Landscape Master Plan. The primary goal of the Elderslie Riparian Corridor landscape strategy is to utilise and strengthen the site's existing attributes within an efficient stormwater management system through the creation of two 'green spines' that will form part of a broader regional open space network.
