The rehabilitation of landfill sites into useful recreation spaces is on of the greatest environmental challenges of contemporary landscape design. CONTEXT was commissioned to provide a Landscape Analysis, Concept Master Plan and Rehabilitation Plan, for the redevelopment for the landfill site. The Master Plan involves the replanting of indigenous Cumberland Plain Woodland species along creek lines on sculpted land art forms extended through out the park’s landfill zones.
