Craigiburn Bypass, North Melbourne

CONTEXT was commissioned to develop a number of innovative planting design strategies to create a smooth transition between the landscape and built elements of the Craigieburn Bypass. Traversing Melbourne’s northern suburbs, the road creates a variety of driver experiences through integrating concepts such as habitat creation, land modelling and broad-scale revegetation using a palette of indigenous species.
