Cambridge Forest New Town

The Cambridge Forest New Town Residential Master Plan is one of the first and most successful medium density residential developments of its type in Shanghai. The Master Plan, which involved the remediation of a series of existing canals, introduced a new typology of residential community set amongst a unique palette of parklands. The design incorporated innovative contemporary concepts for the public domain, open space, waterscape and landscape design and introduced ESD principles, environmental innovation, water recycling and other water sensitive urban design principles.
