Anvil Creek is a site of national significance as a former military camp and migrant camp during the second world war. CONTEXT prepared the Landscape Master Plan for the new golf course mixed use residential development on this 423 hectare estate. The design retains key heritage elements and plantings, restores the creek lines and interprets the site’s history through a number of imaginative landscape settings that incorporate a disused rifle range, vineyards, stone quarries and remnant bushland.
